Master Namo Sak-Yant
"The white temple in the background refers to the origins of Master NAMO: Mae Sai, the capital of the Golden Triangle, the far north of Thailand, in the province of Chiang Rai.
This is how Master NAMO is of Lanna descent. He had acquired all the necessary knowledge to be an excellent LANNA Sak Yant practitioner. Not content with this, Master Namo moved to Bangkok to learn Khom script, originating from the kingdom of ANGKOR.
The Kingdom of Lanna persisted until 1884 when it was definitively annexed to Siam under the reign of King Rama V, who entered into a 'marriage of reason' with a royal princess from Chiang Mai (Princess Dara Rasmi).
Master NAMO is now one of the few Sak Yant practitioners to create talismans in both Lanna and Khom scripts (see below). Additionally, he offers both techniques:
Traditional hand-poked method often called bamboo or traditional lance work.
Modern tattoo machine work, offering very high quality such as fine and regular lines, a much less painful process, and significantly shorter duration."
